Baylor 2018

Athlon says Baylor will be the most improved team in the Big 12 and may get to a bowl game.  I know nothing about Baylor post-disaster and have generally not paid much attention to the Big 12 outside of Texas and Oklahoma.

Baylor, much like Texas, will improve based almost exclusively on how much its OL improves. Baylor has very credible QBs, RBs, and WRs. Like Texas, none of it mattered last season when the opposing defense was 3 yards off the LOS waiting for the ball to snap.

Unlike Texas, Baylor does not possess the psycho defense necessary to win with ball control. Even with an improved OL, Baylor will still need to aim for 34+ points for wins.

Baylor is still feeling the effects of having OL players transfer out during "the troubles". Last season, they also had just a silly amount of injuries in camp - resulting in their starting TE being moved to C. This season, there's reason to believe in improvement, but no reason to believe in dominance.

Baylor most likely wont win more than six games this year.
