I went to Media Day in Michigan Stadium in maybe 1998 and we were running routes in one of the end zones. I laid out on a diving catch, and some random guy got really excited and into celebrating with me. Turned out to be a true freshman Larry Foote. Just seemed like a really cool, genuine guy, so I've always rooted for him. Had no idea who he was at the time, as following recruiting wasn't really a thing yet.
That said I voted for Ward.
