For once not speaking for my schools, I would like to see Wisconsin add women's gymnastics. Wisconsin has interscholastic gymnastics in high school, and gymnastics in some of their smaller colleges, but not the UW-Madison. Compare that to Iowa which dropped interscholastic gymnastics in about 1979 or so, but has scholarship gymnastics programs in Iowa City and Ames. It's just weird that Wisconsin has it in high school but not college.
These girls, and women, work incredibly hard at this sport, and I would like to see it become more of a spectator sport in the Midwest.
I would also like to see Wisconsin get baseball.
As for Iowa, men's soccer, so we have a fall back in 75-years when football head injuries kill off the sport.

I have now scrolled through the other posts, and see mention of Lacrosse. I think Iowa should have men's and women's Lacrosse. It is another fall sport that could one day replace football, if that becomes necessary, and it is truly an American sport.

A lot of support for Hockey and Lacrosse.

MSU and Purdue both have some history with Lacrosse.

The Spartans had a varsity team from 1964-96, and the Boilers had one from 1974-81.

The order I'd like to see them add would be:
1. Beach VB
2. Water Polo
3. Bowling
+1
Beach VB - I would also call it sand Volley Ball. West campus has a couple courts already set up, and I think Grandview (Just SW of Campus) has indoor sand volley complex. This can be an easy add.
Water Polo - when they built the aquatics complex, I noticed they didn't have a pool for polo, and was bummed by that, I think retro fitting something in would be really expensive.
Bowling - When they took out the bowling lanes in the old Union, you knew this "sport" wouldn't make it. And it's not really a sport... But if people want to play it and the money is right I'm not opposed to seeing it offered.

Good call on gymnastics at Wisconsin.

I think the question should more be, what sports would you want to add, and 1-to-1 (ignoring costs and Title IX) which would you want to cut to make room for it.

I don't think anybody actively wants sports to be cut

add ice hockey, probably need women's along with men's because there is no ignoring Title IX

eliminate men's tennis, cross country, & golf - don't seem to be competitive and it sucks revenue and title IX ships
you mean like this..........??

I don't think I'd have to eliminate a sport for SAND VB because most schools use their regular VB players. But it is tough to zero in on one to eliminate because the Buckeyes are pretty good at the sports that I don't particularly care for.

I don't really like Wrestling, Women's Hoops, Men's Tennis, Men's Gymnastics or Men's Volleyball. But OSU is like top 5/10 in all of those sports.

Then there's Fencing, Pistol, Rifle, etc that I never watch, but they seem like pretty cool sports to have. So I'll keep the weapon sports.

I guess it would be Swimming or Cross Country that I would axe. I don't ever watch either, and OSU isn't exactly killing it in those events.

Well, as I said, Purdue currently sponsors the fewest scholarship sports in the conference. So we don't have room to cut anything. We need to add several just to get anywhere near parity with the rest of the league.

Iirc, N cut men's swimming due to compliance problems in the program and seemingly every swimmer was from overseas.   They were Ok but there seemed to be some shade.

Can't honestly say there's anything I'd add or remove for Penn State.

Not surprising it appears the PSU, OSU and M all sponsor the most sports.  I guess putting 100k+ paying customers in a big stadium 7 times a year allows you to do that.

Yeah, PSU is missing the same four as OSU, plus Pistol, Rifle, Fencing, and Syncronised Swimming.
Michigan pretty much has the same lineup as PSU, only with Water Polo and Syncronised Swimming instead of Women's Ice Hockey and Men's Volleyball.
Nebraska is doing a lot of the heavy lifting with obscure sports, as they have Bowling, Rifle, and "Beach" Volleyball (as they call it on their own website). **insert multiple crotch chops**

So if the Huskers ever add Lacrosse and Ice Hockey for both genders, then they will be barking with the big dawgs as well.

As for my other school FSU, I would like to see them offer men's and women's gymnastics. Women's gymnastics is a spectator sport at Florida, and Georgia, and possibly at Alabama, and LSU, so their are regional schools to compete against, and it should be in the culture.

I should add that FSU has its Flying Circus, which is acrobatics under a circus tent, and many acrobats get their start in gymnastics. There could be some overlapping participants.
