I didn't notice either. he Cap and Helmet are almost (not quite) identical to my OldeEnglish D and Cloister Black D from my fonts I use to decorate court filings, for what little that is worth. The Jersey D is made up, I think. See below:

That's a tough one.  His three best years, based on metrics, were all with the Expos.  98, 00 and 02.  But he won his AL MVP with the Angels.  Kind of shows you what going from Montreal to LA will do for exposure.  He had three top 3 MVP seasons in LA, despite (based on WAR) being his 4th, 5th and 7th best seasons.  His 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th were all with Montreal, 13th, 4th, 6th and 24th in MVP voting in those 4 years.

Pretty sad that Montreal couldn't win something back when they had Raines, Dawson, Carter, etc. Those were some good teams that won a lot of games but just couldn't get over the top.

As the fan of a team who carried one of the more notorious steroid abusers, take this with a grain of salt, but...

I don't know how HOF voters differentiate between anyone still on their voting lists when it comes to PEDs. There are still a lot of questions.

As for current baseball, the Giants added some nice names (Longoria and McCutchen), but their bullpen is still a mess until proven otherwise, and it's not clear how those two names will actually improve the team as they age. McCutchen will likely not play center, Austin Jackson will.
