Well, here we are.  Texas looks a little better than the past few years, and OU is undefeated as expected at this point.

College Gameday is back in Dallas for the first time in forever.

Half the stadium wears orange, the other half wears red and has no teeth.

So here we are.  Hate week, bitches.  Bring it.

I'm normally all doom and gloom about this game, at least for the past decade or so, and it's not sandbagging, I promise you that much.  Texas has been demonstrably horrible for most of that time period.

Even so, the Horns have played OU tough despite being a much worse team, for the past several years, including one inexplicable win with what was probably Charlie Strong's worst team at Texas, which is saying something, as he was an historically awful coach in Austin.

This year I like the way the Horns have put together a bit of an identity, and I like the way the Horns have played up to their better competition in the TCU and USC games.

Don't get me wrong, OU is a lot better than either of those teams, but I think Texas has a decent shot at winning this game.  If not now, when?  If not Texas, who?

Or something like that.

Hook 'em horns and OU sucks!

Texas heading north for their annual whuppin' ... nice to see them all confident and thinking they're gonna win.  All that DOUMED talk the past few years had really gotten old.

And, I guess OU should be worried, because the Horny Bevos have a won a few games and are happy with their still fairly new leadership, in the form of Coach Herman

The opening line on the RRS favors OU by 7.5

Normally it figures that OU will win this game

but that iqnores the RRS factor

and the fact that the football gods are pretty mad at Fred right now

after he said they dont exist

anyway it should be interesting

The way they’ve been incurring their wrath on the Horns starting in 2009 with the Bama MNC game has definitely got my attention.

Question whether the Horns have fully paid for whatever it is the po’d the FG’s so much.  Guess we’ll find out soon enough

Sigh, jeez cousin drink some coffee.  Not W but U

D-OU-MED

Now, as a math type guy, you might see this as the differential of an OU medical degree, which when integrated could become a full fledged OU-educated physician, such as my dear dad was, but I meant it much more simply than that, which is just that embedded in your "doom," OU lurks.

That is all.  Harmless ... particularly since I think the Horns are gonna win this year (just between you and me and well the rest of the porch).
