Winged Helmet and PSA

For those of you who remember the CNN/SI boards of the late 90s (where I got my start), Rabidfan sports and Winged Helmet's own board, The Alamo, you'll remember both Winged Helmet and PSA (Penn St in Atlanta).

PSA was one of the first people I met hanging out at the PSU thread at CNNSI. He was a lawyer although we never held that against him. I never got to meet him but from interacting with him you could tell he was a nice guy despite his chosen profession. He managed to attend the PSU/Neb game in Lincoln and although he was clad in blue, was well received by all the Husker fans he knew from CNNSI. PSA passed in 2016 after being ill for a few years (per Old Scribe's wife).

I did have the opportunity to meet the one and only Winged Helmet who passed in 2014. Despite how opinionated he was about all things Michigan, and for that matter, all things, Dubya H was a great guy and would give you the shirt off his back. My wife, Corn Dawg (Nebraska native, Washington alum), my son and I drove through Indy in 2004 and we stayed with he and his wife, the Lovely Lady Lion. They were gracious and Dubya H even had a beer waiting for me when we pulled in. He came to our place in 2001 for UM/Washington and was a great guest as well.

Rest in Peace and I miss you both .

Thank you, Sir. They deserve the kind words it sounds like.
