In B12 related news-- what the heck happened to Oklahoma State?  From playing in the B12 CCG in 2023, to 0-9 in conference in 2024.  That's just brutal.

In Big 12 news, do you think oSu fires Mike Gundy?  I have no idea how they feel in Stillwater. His overall record is not bad, he’s had several 10+ win seasons, and has been a good fit for them.

I'd let him know the contract wasn't going to be extended another year and he wasn't going to get the annual raise

once you consider what that league is now iowa state's success isn't that surprising. who in that league can they not compete with? i would argue nobody.

as for gundy i wouldn't do a damn thing - it's his first losing season since his first.

Neal out at WV. Rumors swirling that Jimbo Fisher is being considered. He’s from WV originally. Wonder if he even needs a paycheck, considering that we’re paying him $9MM+ to not coach football.

Not sure how this works, but I’m under the impression that Ohio St will still make the playoffs.  I assume they’ll not get a bye, but get somebody like Boise St, win, and proceed to go deep.  Hell, they might win the whole thing.  I wouldn’t count Day out yet.
