The vinegary BBQ sauce is endemic to the eastern Carolinas.  Places even here may have it on the table, but it's not added ahead of time.  South Carolina is known for mustard based sauce, which is a bit odd to me.

I got used to the vinegar style when I was living in NC.  It's "OK".

This year I took the whole week off.  Just hanging at the house with the kids right now, watching Lord of the Rings and getting ready for turkey in a couple!

I've been hangin at the house since the 6th

hernia surgery recovery has been too derned slow

Getting a haircut this afternoon
Appt with the surgeon tomorrow morning, lunch with a customer tomorrow and new tires on the work car in the afternoon
Birthday dinner with a friend Wednesday night
then hosting 7 for thanksgiving Thursday

I have my last eye check up tomorrow.  I hope.  I restarted running and gym work, I threw some today.  Beautiful weather here.  I'm sore.  

Having lamb chops for dinner with two friends coming over, pouring the Hahn SLH pinot noir, asparagus and roasted carrots and sauteed mushrooms.

Mack Brown out at UNC. He had a couple of decent years there.  Really surprised he came back for more.

He likes doing it, and it isn't like he was besmirching the proud UNC tradition. His IS the proud UNC tradition.
Mack gave them a couple of memorable seasons. I doubt the next coach will improve much.

UNC was really different about football vs SEC teams.  I suspect that had not changed.  Our lab was across the street from the stadium and as I walked in during a game (to the lab) I could hear applause, as if it were a tennis match.  This is while ago of course.
