I mostly commend you on this, except you might need to help your boy step up his amp/speaker game.  If he was blasting it at full volume you should've heard it before you went upstairs.

Truly a fair point.

Kids these days seem satisfied with a streaming service and a bluetooth JBL speaker.  When I was his age I had a 240W stereo amp driving a pair of large Fischer floor speakers.
