I think Mike Hutchence just wanted to experience everything this world had for himself. The cat was just legendarily excessive with his fun. I didn't fully appreciate INXS until recently.

When I used to DJ parties in the 80s and early 90s, What You Need turned even the lamest gathering into a massive Footloose kinda dance party.  So did this one...

Speaking of huge 70s turntable cabinets, my folks would always wake us up on Saturday mornings by playing record albums in the living room, letting us know it was time to get up and do chores, house-cleaning, etc.

They loved playing Kris and Rita, and so of course I do as well.
