Because I'm me, I've got a small Behringer mixer that connects my office rig. Mostly I use it to switch audio to the room, but it also supplies phantom power to the Zoom mics. Most of the time, it's playing background jazz into my office from a tablet running Spotify.
Since it communicates all channels to the USB that routes to and from the computer, and hence the Zoom meetings, I'm usually tempted to bring up orchestral swells behind dweebs giving long winded bloviating speeches in an attempt to "play them off the stage" like what happens at the Oscars.

Remember this one from high school.  It wasn't until years later I heard the whole album and realized I liked it.  Never was much into her.

Yeah I've always been pretty indifferent to Eurythmics/Annie Lennox.  She's fine.  I don't hate her stuff.  But I don't ever seek it out and would never feel compelled to see her live in concert.

I liked several songs on that album.

I saw them on that tour at the Riverfront Arena in New Orleans.  They were okay live.  We were mainly there to see one of the opening acts, Fuel, touring for their Something Like Human album.  Fuel blew them away, as well as the other opening act--can't remember who that was, they had a single out, Oleander, maybe.  We wound up leaving about halfway through the 3 Doors Down set because it was anti-climactic.

You can gauge pretty well before a tour who is gonna be the bigger deal and avoid "mixing up" the lineups....although some bands do wind up bailing if they become a huge deal mid-tour or shortly before and a lot of times it's mutual.  You don't want to be the "pretty big" band headlining a tour and have a mega-band opening for you any more than the opening band wants that.  That's a recipe for an empty arena by the time you go on stage.  But you often can't gauge the musicianship and how good another band is on-stage, regardless of how "big" they are.  Fuel was hard to beat, live.

Yeah I never saw 3 Doors Down live.  Honestly, as much as I dislike people and crowds, it takes a lot to get me out to a concert.

Small clubs like Antone's or the Continental Club or the Saxon Pub, no problem.  But anything larger than maybe 100 people and I've got to

A) Really love the band and believe they're going to be fantastic live and
B) Never seen them live before

I saw a lot more big shows in my teens and 20s but even then, I pretty much followed those rules.

It's possible and even likely I've missed some great shows because of that, but I can live with it.  I see tons of amazing acts at the small venues mentioned above, and several others.
