I've got a karaoke rig set up for the back porch. Ok, it was really an excuse to get a Behringer mixer and a wireless mic unit to play with. When we're done with movies (or usually the game), we're usually boozed up enough to start singing. There's a pretty good app called "Karafun" that runs on the Firestick and lets me project to the big screen. By scanning the QR code, anyone can add songs with their phone. There's 4 mics, no waiting, and a hard limit of 1 per night on "Whiskey River" and "Ventura Highway".
I usually hit in the "Hootie and the Blowfish" range. I have to lift Leonard Cohen about 1 full step in order to be comfortable. I favor Dean Martin over Sinatra, largely because Ol' Blue Eyes is very free with the tempos. If you're not 100% memorized, they're challenging. When my voice is raw, I can really dog the Black Crowes.
"Creep" is reserved for my son. It's his favorite.
