I remember "I'll Wait" quite well.  It's actually my favorite song on the album and possibly my favorite Van Halen song of all time.

Compare the lyrics of that song, to Def Leppard's "Photograph," and tell me they aren't sequels for another.

"Photograph" came on the old Spotify while I was riding to work this morning. Reminded me about 6th grade when I'd saved my allowance, gone to Target (newly opened less than a year), and bought a knock-off Walkman cassette player (the kind that only had Stop/Play/Fast Forward buttons) and "Pyromania". 

Wore that tape out.

Incidentally, it'll be 42 years old on 20 January.

Pyromania was the second vinyl LP record I ever bought.  Went down to the "Sound Warehouse" record store and got it with my lawnmowing money.
