Not all horns-down is created equal.

Doing it on the sideline or in the stands with your team - all part of the game.
Running towards the Texas student section doing it - good way to get things out of control quickly.

Doing it when you're not playing Texas (and, in some cases, don't even have them on the foreseeable schedule) - just off-message entirely.

Well, there's a traditional element to that. I can't criticize too much.

My point is to watch the crowd when 0u or TAMU are playing, well, anyone else on the planet. It's tough for the crowd cam to clear 20 fans before at least one is throwing the "horns down".

It's like wearing your TCU shirt to a Baylor/oSu game. Don't be that guy.

And knowing that if you beat them, it ruins their entire season, no matter who else they might beat all year-- that feels even better.
