It's fun to think back about how few options we had in 1975, not that I was much of a beer drinker then. I had a buddy in college who'd chip in to buy a 12 pack of something like RW&B, but it was a Bud off brand, and we'd sit in my dorm room and drink it on Friday and solve the world's problems. I can't recall what the "cheap" Bud brand was now.
Stroh made a surge around that time, maybe later. Cincy had "Little Kings" which I sorta liked a bit. That was 1980+. St. Pauli Girl Dark I'd buy on occasion, it was pricey.
There was no "craft beer" available to us then.
