I guess it's kind of lame to adopt the 2-time defending champs as a team to root for, but I just moved down to the Tampa area.  The Blue Jackets are my main team of course, but I think I'll cheer for Tampa if (when) the CBJ miss the playoffs.

I don't like the penguins. Really the only team I actively root for here is the pirates. But the city is buzzing more during a playoff run, so I think it's kind of easy to buy into the local team

I'm in the same boat as you. No Blackhawks to root for, so the locals get me.

Where about are you at? We're in Punta Gorda.

That 3rd goal to tie it by Calgary was, is something to see.  I won't spoil it of you haven't seen it yet.

Reminded me of the Red Wings goal.to salvage their 2002 Cup run.  Goalie always has to keep his head on a swivel
