I’d love to see Cleveland win here and next week and make it to super bowl. Fans of that team sure as hell deserve it.

Also- could just be more confirmation that we are indeed in the end of days.

... My friend, Curtis Martin left college in 1994.

Otherwise, it speaks to the beauty of the sport. One guy doesn't change much. And one side of the ball doesn't often change much. A shutdown corner is good, but without other pieces, he's not gonna make a defense.

And shoot, Curtis Martin, he wasn't even that good of a college running back.
Martin was really good. The team was really bad and gained all the yards all by himself. Then he blew out his ACL in game 2 of his sr year a year where he probably would have gained at least 1600. As far as talent goes him and conner are 1A and 1B (McCoy had the better career and you could make the case Lewis did too but IMO they didn't have the natural ability)

Despite the mediocrity they've produced some players that are a joy to watch.

Pitt's problem is that they've always been fatally flawed in one aspect of the game. This year, no running game, previous years a sieve of a D in the Peterman/Conner years. Before that no QB. Walt Harris never had an OL. They've just never put a complete team on the field.

He’s been a back-up in KC for awhile now.

He always had really good arm talent- just never had it upstairs. He read things too slow or not at all- the great QBs process a lot of information very quickly and make good split second decisions- Henne always struggled with that.

I thought he was going to develop after that great true Frosh season- but he never got any better at all. Just stayed the same.

This stinks - Lamar Jackson hurt and now Mahomes....I'd like to see teams win straight up, best vs best.  We all know injuries are a thing, but still.

I can’t disagree more on McCoy.  He had an elusiveness that I’ve seen in very few backs.  Before I knew he was I was watching Pitt play Navy during his freshman year.  This was back when Slaton and Ray Rice were still in the BE.  After watching that game I remember thinking he was better than either of them.

I think he meant productivity-wise.
