An alternate universe where the Browns take Brady, and the Patriots take Wynn? Would Brady have been a bust, while Wynn would have become the GOAT?
Nah. Spergon Wynn would’ve sucked and washed out anywhere he went.

Brady definitely wouldn’t have become the GOAT in Cleveland. He probably would’ve gotten injured and broken like every Browns QB of that era. The marriage between him and Belichik was a match made in football heaven. For both of those guys. Bill wasn’t exactly a hot commodity before Brady. He had been fired in Cleveland after 4 losing seasons out of 5, and he was 5-13 with a $100 million pro bowl QB and on the hot seat in NE until the pro bowl QB got his life destroyed by Mo Lewis and Brady fell out of heaven and the rest is history.

Wonder how much of the OSU staff he takes with him.

I think it’s a great fit. Urban has shown he’s phenomenal at spotting talent. Both assistant coaching and Player talent. He’ll get great coaches to work beside him and as long as he’s given full control and gets to pick the players in draft/fa he will absolutely turn it around.

Biggest battle in NFL is the QB. He’s about to get Trevor Lawerence- who all the NFL scouts/draft gurus say is the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck and maybe the 2nd best since Elway (behind Luck).

He’s got a great chance to crush it in the NFL imo.

I’ll be surprised if he takes anybody of significance from the Ohio State staff. I didn’t see One Internet article already it says he’s taking Charlie Strong from Alabama’s defense of staff. They didn’t say what role

I could see him taking Mattison, Hartline, Pantoni, and Marotti. Urbs  goes way back with Mattison, Pantoni, and Marotti, and Hartline is a rising star WRs coach who played WR in the league.

Also: now it makes sense why he turned down Texas. He had the NFL itch. Can’t blame him. It’s the highest level of competition and also- no recruiting and kissing the asses of 17 year olds 24/7, 365. Way more down time in the off-season.

Being an NFL head coach is harder in some ways- but also a lot easier in other ways. No year round recruiting of freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior high school players and real down time during the off-season is one of them.

Mariotti already let everyone know he is staying.

Seems like Lawerence is a lock. If he doesn’t take Lawerence they’ll work out some blockbuster trade.

I really like Fields, but Lawerence is a not brainer.

It's not just Fields vs Lawrence, it'd be Fields and a TON of trade value to move down VS Lawrence.
For a team as bad as Jacksonville, that's what they should do, obviously.

So they probably won't.

Depends on the offer they get and what Urban thinks of Lawrence. If Urban feels like Lawerence is can’t miss and is THE guy and a true franchise QB- then no way he gives him up for any amount.

Franchise QB on a rookie deal- there nothing you can trade for that that comes remotely close to equal value.
