some QBs need a LOT more help than others

Dak is one of those IMO

Dak is only 27, and I'd much rather have him than any QB not named Rodgers, Mahomes, Watson, Brady, Russell Wilson, Lamar Jackson, and maybe Justin HerbertI'm a believer in Jackson for the long term, he's still so young and is the most athletic QB we've ever seen. Herbert had a phenomenal rookie year and has one of the best arms in the NFL.

Matt Ryan is washed, Stafford has put up great numbers but he's won even less than Dak and he's been in the league 3x as long and is 33 with a body that is breaking down, not a believer in Josh Allen or Kyler Murray- at all- not yet at least- and I mean after that who is there really that you'd take over Dak?

former OMGEEERD FIVE STARZ and 1st round NFL draft pick OT Isaiah Wilson traded from the Titans to the Miami Dolphins. Titans just drafted Wilson in the 1st round in the 2020 NFL Draft, and are trading him to Miami. The trade? Titans are packaging Wilson AND a 7th round pick to the Dolphins for.....a 7th round pick. If that isn't damning, don't know what is. Team is giving up a 7th round pick plus you just get a 7th back? After only one season of having you? Wow. Titans basically just announcing to the NFL World- we think this guy sucks.

and now Dak is making more than all but one of them
Cousins is similar in Minnesoota.  He's not bad, but he's just not worth that type of money.

I might actually take Kirk over Dak for the same $$$

You weren't that high on him coming in,he has surprised a lot of people.I like Mayfield,IMO he has a higher ceiling and lower floor than Dak,who for a few yrs had a lot more than Baker to work with

Brady always left money on the table for Belichick to build the defense. And he's reportedly close to re-signing and re-structuring his deal in Tampa so they can free up money to try and keep LB's Shaq Barrett and Lavonte David. Not very many follow his lead, but the truth is if you want to win like he has in the NFL- you HAVE to take less money.
Not very many have the luxury of taking that pay cut because their squeeze is north of 400 million with a 40 mil per salary

Well in fairness, he was doing that before he ever married her. Brady has always kept money on the table. He's publicly said that he's made way more money than he ever imagined he would playing football, and for him it's never been about the money. And I'm also pretty sure he comes from a very well to do family. Not super wealthy or anything like that- but his father Tom SR definitely worth a few million here and there.

So just like Kirk Cousins replaced Andy Dalton as the example of the overpaid quarterback, he has now begat Dak Prescott?

how about the Ickey Shuffle???

Ickey Woods talked at a football camp I attended as a kid. Back in the day I knew how to do the Ickey Shuffle.

Ickey Woods got real big.  I was officiating a bunch of pee wee football games a number of years back in Cincinnati and he was on the sidelines, guess he was a parent or relative of one of the kids.  He had to be well over 300lbs. That said he was still well loved in cincy, he had a constant string of people wanted to talk to him and get his autograph.
