I voted G&T. That's my go-to mixed drink.

I couldn't vote Whiskey w/ ice. That's not a mixed drink. That's a whiskey (or bourbon) on the rocks. And Old Fashioned or a Jack&Coke is a mixed drink. A whiskey on ice isn't.

My go-to hard liquor is whiskey/bourbon/scotch. Whiskey/bourbon is usually on the rocks. Scotch typically neat.

I don't drink a lot of mixed drinks but making mojitos is fun

At the risk of having my man card taken away I’ll say  Malibu and pineapple.  Great summer drink lounging by a pool or on the beach.  I’ve never been much of a liquor drinker. I tend to stick to beer.

Old fashioned, but not the way those weirdos in Wisconsin and Minnesota make it with brandy. Bizarre.

Bwar, single malt highland (neat), and blended scotch/whiskey/bourbon on the rocks are go-tos for me as well, though there are a handful of blended whiskys that don't need the rocks.

why is this not multiple choice at the top?

summer - Gin & tonic - Bombay

winter/fall - scotch on an ice cube - Jonny Walker - black or better

before dinner - Martini - gin, a little dirty - blue cheese stuffed olives

morning before beer - bloody mary

---------------------

not go tos, but drink them often,

mojitos in summer and old fashioned in winter/fall

also, plenty of single malts

Bourbon.  Mixed with an ice cube.

Ahhh, such a weirdly acquired taste. I drank more than a few in college because The Old Fashioned is a great bar, and when in Rome.

Also, Gin and tonic for me. And whisky being on the list is a silly miscategorization, that is all.
