I think the beef in Tuscany is excellent, but the rest of Europe? Nah.

I did watch most of the game, since I completely F'd up my hand and there was no going on the lake.  Motor wouldn't turn over, so I grabbed some cruddy old pliers to tighten the battery cables, arced my wedding ring when I turned too far and hit both battery posts with the pliers.

My secretary said gold melts at 1000+ degrees.  Never heard my own flesh sizzling before, interesting.

Anyhoo, I was glad Spain scored.  It would have been tragic had the team that never even had gotten a single shot on goal to that point ended up winning on penalty kicks, after being absolutely dominated.
good story on the finger!  y'all know better, I hope.  Silly Wildcats

why would the secretary know these things????

Yup, argentina was dominated.  Spain shouldn't have let it come down to the last few minutes.  Dumbasses.

I've had it, it's okay.  It's definitely not excellent. Mediocre beef in the US is better.

Musta been a bad day for the chef or a bad cow.

I do wish they would cook it a little more. They won't.

Also tough to find a steak that is not rare to raw in Tuscany. They won't go anywhere past that, and many places will kick you out of you ask otherwise*.

Unless you're in a major tourist hub, where they might cook it to medium - tops.

* Kinda like asking for ketchup at a Chicago hot dog stand.

I would be fine with that - as long as it's warm

I can actually eat it with a cool center and enjoy it.

I like it rare that's not an issue.  High quality beef is great rare.

I don't like any beef cooked rare, regardless of origin. Neither does my wife. She'll go M-R, and I prefer M.

I've done that. It's not bad but I prefer tuna raw or salmon raw over beef raw.

My favorite raw food is Uni.

Mmmm.....salmon.  Brought some smoked salmon for lunch today.  Over yellow rice, broccoli with lemon pepper on the side.

Is it lunch time yet?
