Actually I won't be watching any of today's soccer.  My i s c & a aggie wife and I are going downtown to celebrate our anniversary, I've got dinner reservations at her favorite very pricey Japanese sushi restaurant, we'll be doing the full omakase experience.  Then live music from one of our favorite local Austin blues acts, then staying in a hotel downtown.

It's pretty funny how all of the "true soccer fans" from places like Mexico (who loves the sport perhaps more than any other country) and England (who invented the sport), who have been telling USA soccer fans for 5 days that we know nothing about the sport, we know nothing about what constitutes a red card, and we know nothing about how penalties are assessed and/or appealed....

...are now arguing online strictly along nationalist lines about whether the English Quansah penalty yesterday should have been a red card or not.  Turns out it's never a red card if that would harm your side, and it's always a red card if that harms the folks you oppose or just plain don't like.

"Low soccer IQ" indeed.  What a bunch of arrogant dipshit assholes.
HA!!! so it's just not me - same thing with WWII history comment sections on youtube. I call these carnival barkers (prolly the same guys) Youtube Tommies. Act like Montgomery and his minions saved the USA's arse. And how Montgomery's absolute debacle of market garden was actually failure on two US Airborne divisions part that were sent by IKE by british request. When Monty himself never was at the battle and even fessed up fault - after the War when he couldn't get called on the carpet. Bunch of revisionist Redcoats they are
