International football players could stand to flop less, but there's a reason they do it--fouls are a little more precise / nuanced than in other sports, and they want "to help the referees see the foul." That's unfortunate. But the game is beautiful and exciting when played well. And it's being played well right now. Because of the low scoring nature of it, it makes underdogs feel like they have a chance (even when they really do not). The global nature of the game is also remarkable. There is no tournament like it, not even the Olympics.
no one, and i mean no one flops like NBA players. NBA is basically unwatchable now because of it.

I just didn't know the water breaks/commercial breaks were a thing. 

But the acting like you have an open fracture when a guy almost comes in contact with you?  Embarrassing.
