We should also do the opposite of this as well. Your favorite team that's not your primary rooting interest.

Least -
1) ND, but if you guys are not going to allow that, then Auburn because...they are more of an underdog by SEC standards and because of @eltigrerex legendary SEC speed.

2) USC (the one in the B1G). Curiously, this has almost nothing to do with ND. Talk about an arrogant fan base and program. Gross.

UCF and BYU are not G5.

They are A2 (Almost 2).

There is no such thing as the P4.

It is P2 and A2.
We are in a transisition year but by 2026 it will be...

P2, M2 and G6

At that point the Pac will the 6th conference making up the G6.
We are all equal but some are more equal than others.

This reminds me of asking everyone which side you take on random rivalries you don't have a vested interest in.
As for random programs I like, I like when Michigan is good.  As a kid, I liked Clemson when I saw them in a Gator Bowl.
I like when ND is good to root against them.
As for rivalries, I'm a UM/UNC/Wash/Oregon/USC/UofA/Utah/Neb/Tex/Tex/Navy guy.

TCU. I really hate that team. They play weak schedules, the media harps praise on them when they’re doing well.  The beat down Georgia put on them a few years ago was….awesome.

I haven’t checked lately but I do know after their first 5 or so years in the Big 12 they had a losing record.

Also, I hate Liberty, as their biology classes are very different than everyone else's.  Fuck that noise.

Nebraska 26
Clemson 21
Jan. 1, 2009 • 12:10 p.m. Central
Gator Bowl • Jacksonville, FL • CBS

Nebraska scored on four consecutive third-quarter possessions to rally from an 11-point halftime deficit and the Blackshirts capped a dominating effort with a late defensive stand as the Huskers came back for a 26-21 victory over Clemson in the Gator Bowl.

The Huskers were poised for the comeback thanks to an outstanding effort from the Blackshirts. Nebraska held Clemson to 210 yards, including only four yards rushing. All 21 Clemson points came off Husker turnovers, while NU forced two Tiger turnovers that led to six important points in the five-point win.

Clemson led 14-3 at halftime thanks to a pair of touchdowns off Husker turnovers. The Nebraska offense then erupted for 20 points in the third quarter, gaining a lead the Huskers would not relinquish with 1:40 remaining in the third quarter. Overall, Nebraska scored the game’s final 16 points thanks to clutch plays from Joe Ganz, Quentin Castille and the offense, and a stout effort from the defense.

After the Tigers converted another turnover into a touchdown to go on top 21-10, the Blackshirts limited five straight Clemson drives to three or fewer plays. The Tigers ran 14 plays during that stretch for minus-six total yards. During the same period, Ganz threw a touchdown pass to Todd Peterson while Alex Henery connected on three field goals to provide the final margin of victory.

Clemson made one final drive in the closing minutes, marching from its own 23 all the way to the NU 10. With a 1st-and-goal opportunity, the Tigers were sacked for a loss of 16 yards and threw three incompletions to seal the victory.

Yeah, I guess a lot of the ones that drew widespread ire are in the Big 12 now

Can't believe nobody's mentioned Baylor.

I would have, but they're not G5.

It was this one.  I loved Major Harris, but I think I was cajoled to root for Clemson because they were 'southern.'  I probably went along with it because they had orange helmets & jerseys like Florida.

Baylor has never really been on my radar, for anything

my one visit to Waco was back in 2001 - Huskers were ranked #4 - life was still good

Rain fell during much of the first half and play was suspended for 36 minutes in the second quarter because of lightning.

Four Cornhuskers topped 100 yards rushing, tying an NCAA record, as No. 4 Nebraska overcome five turnovers in sloppy conditions for a 48-7 road victory over Baylor.

Thunder Collins rushed for 165 yards, Dahrran Diedrick for 137, Eric Crouch for 132 and Judd Davies for 119 as Nebraska (7-0, 3-0 Big 12) rolled up 641 yards on the ground.

The Cornhuskers had seven fumbles, including a dropped ball in the end zone by Crouch that Baylor recovered for its only touchdown.

You don't consider WV to be southern?
