just looked it up...

Urbs was 16-2 at Florida vs UGA, Florida State, and Tennessee. 7-0 vs Michigan at Ohio State. Dude was an insane 23-2 in rivalry games.
2-0 vs. BYU at Utah; 3-1 in trophy games at BGSU (Kent State and Toledo)

nah. Urbs will probably come back to college to coach USC once Lincoln Riley inevitably gets fired.

Um no,LA isn't a place people are moving and the taxes, crime, mayhem. Not sure he would be receptive to negotiating contracts to 18 yr olds, basically the same shyt that made St Nick throw in the towel

Purdue fires Ryan Walters. Great at being a DC and flapping his gums and talking shit, really fucking bad at being a head coach. I'm sure someone will hire him as a DC though.

SoCal is a hard place to live if you're a normal person. Even if you're an upper-middle class type person (me) it's a hard place to live. It's not the taxes, or the crime, or the mayhem--if you have a decent income you can avoid crime/mayhem (albeit not the taxes). It's the cost of living.

But for someone with Urban Meyer money, all you really have are the taxes. And frankly the kind of money USC would throw at him would mean that even with high taxes, he's making gobs more take-home money than he's probably getting from Fox.

I agree with your other point--the thing that would probably keep him from coming back is that he can no longer be the godhead of a program. We saw what happened when he tried to do that at an NFL program--and grown-assed men took one look at him and realized he's a joke. The issue with the new world of college football is if you try to be the godhead, any player with half a brain (so the minority) will take a hike for the transfer portal and NIL if they so much as sense a whiff of disrespect from you.

I don't know if Urbz can survive that type of world.

I remember Florida before Spurrier (as the coach). They won absolutely nothing. Storied program? Hopefully your post is sarcasm.
