@utee94 , question for you:
Why is Texas/aTm on Saturday night.  Back when they were together in the B12 and before than in the SWC wasn't that game always on Black Friday?
The answer is always TV.

My recall was the game was a combination of black friday and Thanksgiving scheduled dates.

I just noticed this little tidbit that adds just a touch of spice to the Oregon/Washington game:

Oregon is now 22nd overall with a total of 14 appearances at #1.

Guess who is one spot ahead of them with 15 appearances at #1?

Yep, the Huskies.

The game was historically on Thanksgiving night, for many decades of the rivalry during the SWC.

When the B12 was formed they decided to move it to T+1, along with Nebraska-Colorado, as their TV double-header for the day.

Now although the game has returned, it didn't return to its traditional spot on Thanksgiving since several years back,  the NFL decided to screw over college football history and have a game on T-day night.  And since there's nothing particularly meaningful about the game being on T+1, they just decided to put it on Saturday T+2, college football's traditional day.

Damn, I fell asleep at 21-7 and Wisconsin was driving.  Woke up to a drubbing.

Georgia's doing their best to make Haynes King look like Tim Tebow.  Jackets are going to blow them out.

Nothing beats dominating a game only to give up six points on two drives totaling 7 plays and yielding three yards.

Turnover malaise continues
