I had always been taught that you don't discuss politics, and I sort of realized that I don't really like college football anymore, as a sport.  So I decided to duck out on the board for a bit, because that's all that was going on here.  I think college football has only gotten worse since I left, but I might as well grin and bear it, and realize the future of college football means Big Ten games between Rutgers and Washington on Peacock.

Never meant to make anyone concerned, just decided to take a mental break.
Yeah, I hear you. Obviously I did the same in 2022.

Only difference is that I no longer grin & bear it on college athletics. I might tune in to a few games this fall because they're on, but not Purdue and will honestly not care much at all about outcomes, because college football has jumped the shark.

It's now NFL Lite, but a much less compelling product because you don't have a draft or salary cap, so it's basically a spending war supported by wealthy boosters who honestly have always been a bit pathetic trying to relive their glory days through kids 30 years their junior.

It's pronounced War-shing-tun

Nevada is the pronunciation that Easterners have the most trouble with. The middle sylabol is supposed to rhyme with cat, not dog.
