Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Oof. That's a brutal/visceral line.

This Californian had never heard of the Edmund Fitzgerald until I went to school in Wisconsin (I also didn't listen to Gordon Lightfoot). Then I went to Wisconsin and married a girl with a guitar. So basically doubled down on it.

Matt Rhule announces that Dana Holgorsen will serve as offensive coordinator and play-caller for the rest of the season.

Whatever happened to that girl anyway?

Got out of politics. Sadly, a good move.

I am sorry to hear that of course.  She's the kind of person I would vote FOR.  There aren't many like that who would make the attempt.

My wife wants me to run for our HOA Board.  Nyet.

Michigan needs to fire and revamp this entire staff. When you can do basic things correctly this far into the season, it’s time to start from scratch again.

Agree completely.
C'mon guys we've hardly even been introduced

HOA Board and School Board are the political equivalent of being the long snapper.

Nobody ever says "the team is doing great because every time we need to punt @Cincydawg snaps the ball right to the punter." Nope, the only time you hear his name is when he launches one over the punter's head.

Do you need a power trip and want to boss around your neighbors enough to run?

As a former punt/FG long snapper (who never F'd up, not once in four high school seasons),  I was also recruited by my neighbors to join the HOA board.  I was like 'are you F'ing kidding me?  so I can get calls/text from people complaining about a barking dog or a car parked on the street or driveway for consecutive days.  trash cans out past dark?'

I really like what our HOA dues provides us, neat well kept public spaces, pools, tennis courts etc.   Yes, there were some tight regs when we built, but its been a pretty well run outfit during my duration here.

I played left tackle and maybe got called 2-3 times for holding when I absolutely didn't hold.  The only time I blatantly, purposely held a guy as egregiously as possible....not called.

Oh, those zebras.
