When Indiana Wins We All Win In Indiana (SOC Week 11)

We are finally done with the election, and now are football games can be interrupted by commercials for new cars and Christmas Cokes. It's still relatively mild in Columbus for early November. The sun room is comfortable enough for shorts and a sweatshirt. But our half cord of wood arrived on Wednesday, and my wife convinced the kids to stack it, so as soon as the temperature drops a bit more, we are back to lighting fires in the house.

  • Minnesota at Rutgers, Noon, NBC
  • Michigan at #8 Indiana, 3:30, CBS

my living room seems chilly this afternoon/evening
Thermostat set at 68
I think it's because I have an ice pack on my groin

I'm interested in the Hawk/Bruin game tonight
a few of my friends are there

I haven't watched much Hawk football.
I've attended 4 Husker games and played too much golf

I'm pretty sure I won't be attending the Badger game in Lincoln - last home game
the golf course is closed and the hernia surgery ended my golf season

UCLA actually looking competent lately, might be a good game. Iowa is a one trick pony on offense, but that's better than a no trick pony like they have been

With all the pub around BSU's Jeanty, I hadn't realized Iowa's RB had 1200 yards @ 7.5 a carry and 19 TDs.  
UCLA stopped his ass.  Wow!

Florida @ Texas will be over and ugly 20 min into the game.
Lagway will try to play, but as a big, athletic QB, a hamstring injury isn't going to fly.  And after 2 almosts vs Tennessee and Georgia, this group of 20 year olds are going to have limited emotional resilience.  
Because they're 20 year olds, not robots.
