Still enjoy Fletch.   Hardly a week will pass without ably dropping in a line during conversation.

don't know that I've seen Fletch

Lebowski very well may be overrated, but I enjoy it.

We also watched "Step Brothers"

terrible movie IMO
I actually think Step Brothers holds up as well as any Will Ferrell bit that has been driven into the ground.  He basically plays the same character, put in different situations.  I know a lot of guys have made a lot of money doing that, but his in particular seem like you could literally move all of the jokes from one movie to another, and they would essentially work just as well

Aside from the nudity that appealed to 14-year-old utee94, Porky's is a really bad movie that has not stood up well over time.  And Big Lebowski is massively overrated IMO, I much prefer almost ANY Coen Brothers movie over that one.  Raising Arizona is my favorite.

Caddy Shack on the other hand is still brilliant, and Blazing Saddles is legendary.

I'd have gone with Caddy Shack, Blazing Saddles, and maybe Fletch.
Love the Coens, Fargo is my all time favorite movie.  Lebowski is just fine IMO.  Raising Arizona, Oh Brother, Burn After Reading and Hudsucker are all vastly better I think.

I just recently saw Fargo for the first time....it wasn't funny enough for me.  It was just sort of, "welp, that's it" for me, a lot like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

the thing about Fargo that interests me is that it ia based on a true story

when you realize that these people really existed and really did the things in the movie

it was very entertaining at least to me

That was my problem with the tv show.  The movie (IMO) has enough dark humor that you almost forget how horrible the stuff that is happening is.  The show has zero humor, and I just wound up hating everyone.

another trivia game my son and I play is trying to come up with any actor thats been in the most series movies like rocky or rambo

the last time I looked Eddie Murphy had the record with 4 sets of series movies
hugo weaving has several, though he's not in all movies of each series.

transformers series
hobbit and lotr (could count as 1 or 2, same world but different stories, imo it's 2)
avengers/cap america series (again could count as 1 or 2 series as cap has his own series, and he was in couple avengers movies too, imo just 1 though cause he wasn't in avengers much at all)
matrix
happy feet

mortal engines was supposed to be a series (based on book series) but bombs at box office so not likely to continue making them.

Good call.  Hugo Weaving is so great, I'm always happy to see him in a movie's cast.
