It's a darn good thing Texas' game was on the LHN last night so almost nobody saw it.  Just a terrible 1st three quarters.  The offense didn't show up until the 4th, which was exactly the same thing that happened against Rice and Alabama  This is a very bad pattern developing here.

Still, winning is always better than losing, but this team has got to find some way to get motivated early in games.  Traveling TO Baylor next week and although the Bears aren't the same team they were a decade ago, they can still beat Texas if we play the way we have been for the first three quarters.
Seeing this is just weird.

College Football Playoff

[th]DATE[/th]
[th]GAME / LOC.[/th]
[th]MATCHUP[/th]
[th]PREDICTION[/th]
Jan. 8National Championship
Houston
Title gameSemifinal winners
Jan. 1Rose Bowl
Pasadena, Calif.
Semifinal(2) Michigan vs. (3) Texas
Jan. 1Sugar Bowl
New Orleans
Semifinal(1) Georgia  vs. (4) Florida State

We know such projections are silly at this point, but the above slate would appear to be pretty solid, and balanced.

That’s what was yelled about in our section last night.  Sark’s play calling last night was bent on forcing a predictable offense to stubbornly work until Texas has to wake up leading only 10-7 well into the Third when the boos start pouring down.

Texas’ offense has showed itself best when throwing downfield. They have the QB and WRs to open up and throw downfield. And Texas refuses to do this through three quarters. Instead calling run plays that defenses can easily foresee.

Our seats last night:

Doesn't help when your receivers keep on dropping easy balls, as they did all through the first half.

I haven't seen the national "drop" stats for this year but I'd be surprised if Texas isn't toward the top of the list.

Anyway, hope you had a good time at the game and leading up to it.  I got a lot of yard work done but managed to catch the ags and horns on TV later in the day.

didn't catch the game....was Worthy dropping more balls? I don't know what the dudes deal has been. He could be a 1st rd pick...he's an insane athlete with warp speed, but he won't get there if he continues to have a case of the dropsies.
