Are we to the point that any coach that kicks a XP to force OT is gutless?

I've seen this offense by GT......and it's not good.......

Florida ran incessant bubble screens under Ron Zook.  It's crap salad.

Well, their offensive staff is nothing to write home about, and they don't have much talent t compared to the other team (or a lot of other teams) and frankly, the fact that bubble screens are open is both miraculous and a sign Clemson is in no way worried.

Georgia Tech has always had underrated uniforms, imo.  What they have going on tonight is pretty sweet.

Speaking of an offensive staff that isn't much to write home about, Clemson's hasn't done squat for the past half-decade, and much of their smoother sailing, until last season, was on the back of Trevor Lawrence, who seemingly effortless success I credit with landing former OC Tony Elliott the HC job at Virginia.

I didn't realize Clemson was so overrated at #4. QB Uialelei needed a lot of coaching up this past off-season and thus far he looks better in this small sample Vs Georgia Tech, but overall offensive production isn't high. A defensive line like Clemson's (best in nation, IMO) can only carry a team so far. I think Clemson continues their decline, though the rankings haven't reflected it yet.

TD!
There were like two points of "this could be interesting." That moment when GT got the ball down 7 and when it came close to a stop on the drive after.

But now ...

???

They had three years as the No. 4 scoring offense in the country in that stretch?

as Ive said several times 1st games dont really tell ya how good a team is

Is Clemson over rated or is GT under rated

Right now if I had to say Id say Clemson is not a number 4 team but thats just my take

I think that last part is probably right, but I don’t think the process that got them to number four is necessarily wrong. What I mean is, other teams will be better, but at the moment, those reasons aren’t as apparent as the reasons why Clemson will be some degree of good.

Seems like there could be a process by which folks could take some time to observe the current year's teams and rank and evaluate them in a more thoughtful, meaningful way.  Maybe wait until a month or so of the season has passed, before offering any rankings at all.  Just a thought.

It'll never happen of course, for myriad reasons, but it sure would take care of some issues.

Am I the only one that keeps finding myself humming that stupid Wendy's "biggie bag" jingle this morning?
