I would have go the deal with USC alone

No, you wouldn't have.  This is my point.  You might have walked away from the deal entirely, but you weren't going to get USC without UCLA.  It didn't happen because it was never going to happen.

You've already said you don't want USC either, which is fine.  You would not have been able to negotiate any deal other than what the B1G did.

Bull shiet
I would want USC and they would have caved.  What other option did they have?

It was them leaving that cratered the PAC.  They could have stayed and the PAC would still be intact.

They weren't coming without UCLA.  Just because YOU don't like that, doesn't mean the greedy B1G front office had the same issues.  Clearly they didn't.  They accepted UCLA because they were fine with it.

I have no idea why you're arguing this, the proof is in the pudding.  What did happen, was the only thing that was going to happen.

I disagree.  but, as I stated, you have what really did happen on your side

the PAC would be intact and USC would be in a really bad spot.

The Big Ten had ALL the leverage - I would have used it

They'd be standing pat in the PAC, making slightly less money than the B12.

So when the B1G invited them they said, "Sure, but I'm bringing my ugly sister too."

And the B1G said, "We're not a weirdo nutjob like Fearless and we're absolutely fine with what, so welcome aboard."

Fin.

The B1G front office doesn't care.  Why do you?  UCLA isn't somehow "ruining" the B1G's reputation, the B1G already added Maryland and Rutgers for that.
