Hell, it's warm enough that I'm gonna wear shorts, and I'm not even bringing the quarter-zip pullover I use when it's chilly. I know I won't even make it to the first tee wearing that thing.

I'll be sweating by 10 if the sun comes out, especially with no breeze.

no tee time for me this afternoon - too windy

We've already had our high for the day - temps dropping

We're headed around noon to our favorite brunch place that has an excellent elevated patio outside, and great food.

This is an oid house obviously that somehow survived Atlanta's penchant for tearing things down.

They even have snow flurries in our forecast for Tuesday.

Winter's last gasp here.  It was 95 yesterday, it's 39 now high of 52 I think.

But it'll  be in the 90s again before the week is done, and then we won't see another low in the 30s until November.

We're gonna get chilly too. I thought that was over a couple of weeks ago, but that damn groundhog was right.

a 500-watt power plant and a 310 megawatt data center might have gone over better - provide the area a better power option
I have no idea how a data center consumes power, but I'm just going to assume just like anything else in life it probably doesn't consume the full rating of it's MW all the time.  So even if the 300MW plant matches the 300 MW data center, I'd assume the power plant could ramp power up and down, and supply power to the grid if needed, and the data center would not consume the full 300 MW power all the time.  Plus, I'm betting the PP ties into the grid, as does the DC, and you don't necessarily get the same electron from the PP as you put into the grid.

Geez...95 in Austin area?  We were about 80-85 yesterday, felt great.  They're predicting 90+ on Saturday, but mighty chilly here today...breezy and 40's, warming to 50's.

Yup we hit 95 at my sister's house in NW Austin, we did a crawfish boil for the family and hung out outside for the afternoon.  In the shade with the breeze it was okay, but then again I like the heat.

Then the front came in and dropped into the 30s overnight.

Makes sense, it's Spring Break for all of the area school districts and Spring Break is almost always cool and/or rainy for a large portion of it.
