FWIW, I prefer induction stoves to gas by a lot.

Hawaii.
I couldn't figure out where Hawaii was, then I realized it was so dark you can't see it on the background.

Never used an induction stove.  Not sure I've ever even seen one.

Do you prefer gas to electric?

I missed it initially too.  I also just saw that Connecticut is cheaper than Cali, but on my screen the color looked darker for Connecticut.

I should learn to read.

My bro in law has induction out at the Fredericksburg house, I don't like it.  Much prefer gas.

Induction is electric, on steroids.

We have one, unfortunately.

Hmm... For some reason I'd remembered you talking fondly about induction in the past?

I prefer gas to [traditional] electric.

I've never used induction with the exception of a countertop induction burner, and that only rarely since I have to pull it out of the garage and find place on my [limited] counter to use it. It did come in handy a couple of years ago during COVID when our oven failed and we had to cook for 5 for almost two weeks with only a combination of an induction burner, sous vide circulators, two kamado grills and [at the time] a Traeger.

The only thing good about the induction is the ability to boil water in a minute.

You get so much more precise control with gas. I miss that.

I want one :72:

Someday, I'll have a Komodo Kamado.

For now, I have one of these and one of these. The Big Joe came when they were doing Costco road shows, so I got it decently cheaper than that. The Joe Jr was purchased secondhand-but-never-used. And it goes back to the early days of the company when they did both red and black, so the Joe Jr is black.
