Still not much concern around here, but that one on the West could cause some heavy rain/thunderstorms for us over here.

Interesting how many have veered north and east, and your comment about stuff coming up from the Gulf is maybe the most likely issue.

Perfect for football

Yes too warm for chili, I don't make any of that until the thermometer dips below 60!

As soon as the temp goes below 60, I'm making chili. I have all the necessary meats in my freezer.

I'll wait until the high temp is 40-50 for chili
it won't be long

It's never too warm for chili, IMHO.

Of course, my version is akin to "Mexican Spaghetti Sauce" ....

My wife didn't care much for my pork butt.  We made tacoes with it last night, I thought they were pretty good.  She wants me to return the grill, so I'll never be able to fix anything she likes on it.

So, the historical frequency of hurricanes and storms by date is basically Gaussian, therefore if the front end is short of storms relative to predictions, said predictions should be reduced unless there is reason to think this year will not be Gaussian.

No, not always, I generally do lean in her direction because most issues don't really matter much to me.  In this case, I'm keeping the grill and running more experiments on it.  It's a process I'm still learning about how to use the grill, it has a lot of features.
