Our building is replacing the central water tank on the roof, hopefully in late September.  This provides water to our HVACs, which would mean no AC during the period.  The fan on that tank broke about a year ago and after one night of trying to sleep here, we went on a short trip.

An AC without the fan working is obviously not going to do anything.

Late October would be better.

Still pretty dang hot in the south in late Sept.

Break out the multi-meter, it's probably a simple fix.

They may not have spare parts if it's an older unit of course.
