I ran out of sympathy for the Palestinians decades ago.  It was already gone when I saw them dancing in the streets after 9/11.  The various Palestinian terror organizations, PLO, Hamas, and others stated purpose has been to destroy Israel and kill the Jews within.  No peace is possible with such an organization or population.  The Palestinians brought this upon themselves.  Israel needs to completely destroy Hamas and re-occupy Gaza. After that they need to deal with Hezbollah in Lebanon.  Maybe they can try peace again a couple decades after the Iranian support dries up.

Chloropicrin was used as a chemical weapon in WWI and its use as a weapon has been banned by treaty.

LINCOLN – Jackson Brockett wasn’t ready to talk. Not right away.

The clouds were spitting rain and his glove smelled like grape Gatorade, but it all mattered little to the Nebraska left-hander who just pitched the game of his life – and turned in perhaps the individual mound surprise of the college baseball season.

Only a few weeks ago the junior had to process not making the travel roster for a series for the first time in his college career. He was junking his slider and looking for command of his curveball. He took the ball Wednesday out of team necessity as much as anything, with NU in the midst of playing eight games in 10 days.

Brockett was supposed to be an opener of sorts. Instead he made some of the unlikeliest Nebraska baseball history imaginable.

Brockett took the mound and never gave it back, authoring the program’s first individual nine-inning no-hitter in 70 years as the Huskers cruised past Kansas State 8-0 at a damp Haymarket Park. He struck out a career-high 12 and walked two on 107 pitches

I was lucky enough to be present to watch UT pitcher Adrian Alaniz pitch a no-hitter against the hated Sooners back in 2005.

It was really incredible watching the tension ratchet up inning after inning and then throw after throw.  He had 6 Ks total and one walk in the 6th on a 3-2 pitch, which was the only baserunner allowed on for the entire game.  He retired the final 15 in order.

Watching a no-hitter is amazing by itself, and when it's against your hated rival, it's even better.  What a year that was, of course it ended up in Augie's second baseball NC at Texas.

The closest I've seen a no hitter was by the opposing pitcher for 6.2 innings.  I was at a 1 hitter, but the 1 hit was in the 2nd inning.  The visiting team had 2 hits, one of which was a 2 run HR after a walk.  45 degree night game in April, 2-0 win for the visitors.  Worst baseball game not involving children I've ever suffered through.

Several decades? You need to go back hundreds of years- and don’t skip the holocaust.    Israel is NOT the problem
the Israeli occupation has been ongoing for 6-7 decades now....

And what in the actual f does the holocaust- committed by Nazi Germany on Eastern and Central European Jews have to do with Palestinian Arabs? Oh yeah, nothing. Not sure what your argument is here. So because the Germans were evil vile bastards and committed unspeakable atrocities on European Jews that then means those European Jews and their descendants get a pass for committing atrocities upon Palestinian Arabs?

the foundation of the state of Israel involved massive atrocities such as large scale ethnic cleansing. Israel is a European colonizer settler state, built on the back of massive waves of immigration from Europe and to a lesser extent the US, plain and simple. The foundation of Israel was an injustice- it should've never happened. But it did. Many states have been founded on large scale injustices- and nothing can be done about that. Like every state in the world, Israel exists because: it can. They were more organized than the native Palestinian Arabs, more powerful militarily, and have had the full-stop backing and support from the worlds greatest super power (us)- which obviously helps out a ton

Israel exists, it should continue to exist, the millions of innocent people who live there have the right to live in peace, and Israel has a right to defend itself, but what Israel's government has continually done for decades goes way beyond any justifiable argument of self defense. Israel has been undertaking a harsh brutal military occupation of the Palestinian peoples for 6-7 decades now and have constantly and continually annexed Palestinian territory and have been building new settlements virtually non-stop. They just announced a massive annexation of another 2,000 acres in the West Bank just a couple months ago. All this does not = defense. If Israel has a right to self defense, do the Palestinians not have that same right? Anyone who does not have sympathy for the plight of the Palestinian people are flat out just not human beings in my book.

And that underlined part is f'n hilarious considering Netanyahu's own governments' support for Hamas has f*cking DWARFED any kind of support that Iran has ever given in relation to Hamas. Hamas and Iran are not ideological twins, not even close. They have had many spats and disagreements- it's strictly a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The actual intelligence reporting on how just close the two are linked is thin and contradictory. Why don't you know, actually read into the reporting on that sometime? Netanyahu's governments' have facilitated the transfer of OVER ONE BILLIONS DOLLARS to Hamas- and that criminal fascist racist punk Netanyahu sent the head of Mossad to Qatar weeks before October 7th with suitcases full of cash to give the Qataris to....give to Hamas. Ever take even a second to ask yourself why that is, that? It's pretty simple. The answer is Netanyahu is a f*cking psychopath criminal who doesn't want a two state solution, has never wanted a two state solution, and will set the whole of the world on fire to make sure that never happens- and to a lesser extent to protect his own ass and secure his own grip on power. Netanyahu needs this war to continue or the likelihood he's out of office is extremely high.

And it continues to amaze me how lazy, stupid, and propagandized Americans truly are. Dumbest and fattest, but most free, most awesome country in the world, for sure imo.
