Very small, smallest possible, drop in hurricane number predictions in Atlantic.

As we approach the end of the season, their revisions will resemble reality a lot more closely.
End of the season is very late September. Late August to mid September is peak season.

118 here yesterday.  That's fun.

Going up to a mountain cabin in a couple of days, highs in the 70s there.  Thank god.

For here, it's mid-September to Mid-October.

I don't view a drop of from 16 to 15 by a prediction as being "significant".  Both are guesses, one is just later than the other after no hurricanes have formed in the Atlantic.

Thie guesses aren't that accurate, they may suggest a bit of a trend, e.g., more than usual, less than usual, about the same.  Maybe.

I do, but I'm in harm's way. 1 less is better than 1 more.
