As a big 8 guy it is stunning for me to see a December game in Ames played in brilliant sunshine w/o significant wind.

The house occupied by the family of my grandmother on the morning of December 7, 1941 was smack in the middle of the Pearl City Peninsula, not far from the Pan Am dock. At the time, she was 14. They fled to the cane fields above Pearl City, and came back to find several bullet holes in their house, including one in the dining room.
Wow, so lucky to get out in time.

Yeah the weather for TX-KSU looked pretty nice as well.  On the cool side for sure, but I expected a lot worse.  WC4E and SkiCat would be so disappointed in the mild weather.

Florida a little offensively challenged thus far.

Same here.  UTenn can't hang for the whole game.

The Gators have done this for a few games in a row.  A combination of non-threatening opponents and those opponents playing keep-away with the football.  Oh, and our defense not being a traditional 'Florida defense.'

We score going into the half, score coming out of the half, and the final score winds up something expected.

If you're not privy to it, do yourself a favor and look up Tennessee's 2nd half woes this season.  They're epic.
