3-4 weeks ago, someone tells me the Huskers would lose to Indiana and @ Oregon by a combined 6 points, I'd have taken it.

today it completely sucks and is unforgivable
That might be a bit of a stretch, oregon is w/o their heisman candidate QB and the Hoosiers lost their 1st game in the last 22 tries

"Indiana fans packing up and going back to notre dame"brutal these comment sections. IU isn't going anywhere and has as good of shot as any out there to grab the hardware.

A Bruin team that won 3 games last year(i think) will be in the top 10 for sure

This comment annoys me but there a little bit of truth to it. I know people who used to mock IU football and talk up ND but are suddenly huge IU fans. There is no privilege in predating these people. But there is a certain satisfaction in having been here through all the ugly, pathetic, and difficult years. I took my son to his first IU football game when he was barely four years old. Experiencing this with him, 19 years later, is awesome.

Indiana, again, is one if the best teams in the land. And IMO the best coached team.

A question for me preseason was "Is Indiana still an elite team?"  I think the answer is clear.

If maybe not quite "elite", they are among the very best, again.

We may not have any elite teams this season, which could be a harbinger.
