3-4 weeks ago, someone tells me the Huskers would lose to Indiana and @ Oregon by a combined 6 points, I'd have taken it.

today it completely sucks and is unforgivable

Very funny that Larry Ellison likely wears diapers, and yet bought the entire free media, and also Bryce Underwood

Had thought it was Dave Portnoy who bought Bryce Underwood

I think he contributed $1 million.  But Larry Ellison funded the bulk of it

Miami needed double OT to beat FSU.

BYU #1?

No.

Honestly, who cares since they would have to play some top-flight opponents to get to the NC this year unlike back in the 80s when they were gifted a ridiculous one.

ND is the odds on favorite to win the NC after a loss, but if they lose to Miami they'll be right back where they were last year at 10-2 with no quality wins.

The FIRST time in the AP Poll era that 5 of the Top 7 teams fall on the same day

anyone but Miami
Miami and BYU are likely to remain near the top for the rest of the year because they each have only one remaining ranked opponent:
  • Miami is at Notre Dame on November 7.
  • BYU is at Utah on November 7.

They also have a combined one win over a ranked team, BYU's home win over Notre Dame.

Wisconsin could still be a quality win. They could still win 9 games, I think.
