My take from this is that Miami, FSU, Clemson and UNC want to be in the B1G.

Well I did listen to the last 2 Buckeye games over the airwaves. It was a flash back to the '40s and folks huddled around the Philco/RCA's for the Fireside Chats

I think Miami could do the independent thing.  Enough fans hate them, nationally.  They could get a TV deal and play all over the country as the "bad guys," trumpeting up interest.

Opponents' fans wouldn't mind a trip to Miami for an away game, especially since they could fill over half the stadium in their away colors.

Ya if they don't have a profit sharing conference then they'd need deep gate receipts. Which is a tall order even during strong seasons
