Lulz indeed

...can not prevent athletes from obtaining an education from the institution of their choice.

...can not prevent employees from working at the institution of their choice.

athletes/employees are free to do what they want

the penalty is with the program:
Among the penalties for programs, a suspension of the respective sport’s head coach for 50% of a season and a fine of 20% of that sport’s budget.

Listening to the Athletics NBA podcast talking about the tournament, and I love the takes of people who only kind of care about college basketball.

One guy said it's weird that Yaxel is laughing about teams putting freshmen on him.  Said, you are in your 6th year of college basketball, if you want to play against guys your age, there are options, you are the one who decided, no thanks, that seems hard.

I have no idea who Yaxel is, but if he is indeed a 25th-year senior, then for sure, go to the NBA if this is too easy for you.

Michigan's 6th year All American who spent his last post game interview laughing that they put a freshman on him.  My 12 year old could also probably kill 8U baseball, and if he laughed at pitching an 8 year old to him, I'd bench him

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Friday designed to limit how long athletes can play college sports and how often they can transfer between schools.

The order directs the NCAA to create rules that mandate college athletes can play for "no more than a five-year period" and allows them to transfer schools only once before they graduate without having to sit out a season. The rule changes are scheduled to go into effect Aug. 1. A school that plays an athlete who doesn't meet these new limits could risk losing its federal funding.

The order also states that the NCAA should update its rules to create a national registry for player agents and create policies that prevent schools from cutting scholarships or other opportunities for women's and Olympic sports in order to pay their athletes.
