I don't think Miami should have been in either
I know as everyone else does that JMU & Tulane should NOT have been in.

just remover those 3 and then Bama

I'd rather the "final" poll and regular season mythical national championship go back to being awarded before the bowls and the playoff

Well I didn't know those were the options and Concur - if the powers that be reintroduce this it would be the smartest thing they've done

I mean, there is no point in a postseason poll anymore.  The tournament sorts out the top, and who cares behind them

the tournament only sorts out the tournament championship

the reg season championship is a different thing entirely
with the bowl opt outs by players and entire teams - the bowl games shouldn't count

Just the idea that any one of 12 teams are worthy of the national championship proves the whole damn thing is broken.

Go back through history and find any team outside the top 10 in any season who had a national championship-caliber year before the bowls.

Why is our country, in every conceivable aspect, whores to the almighty dollar?  Like aren't we better than this?!?!

"Everybody's announcing what they're doing," Smart said Monday at his Sugar Bowl press conference. "I'm announcing that I'm going in the portal. I'm announcing that I'm re-signing. How about you announce that you're getting better and you're going to practice and, like, actually do what the 20 and 30 years of college football players did before you, which was practice in December when they're on good teams, and get better?"

That's all good and fine as long as Kirby isn't handed more of the most egregious calls from the zebras that I've seen - just this past season
