Whatever stops the whining.  As I've said ad nauseum, no one has been holding a gun to the B1G's head forcing them to play a 9 game conf slate.

Right. They will demand it and will increase the pay. They'd rather not pay the SEC and see FCS schools on the schedule in November.

The had a chance to fix that if they didn’t like it at the initial negotiation.

I would say ESPN will pay for it, not demand it.  Slight difference.

But if SEC programs just drop any decent OOC oppponents, it won't matter much at all.  They will still schedule three pastries including FCS teams.

To me, a pastry is a pastry whether FCS or low level FBS.

Pastry games end up on SECN, if that.  About once a year a UGA game won't be on one of the 7,000 channels we get, so I migrate over to a local pub.  I don't mind, often there will be OSU or Wisconsin fans where I go and several games are on TV.  The UGA game won't be that interesting except seeing how the fourth string walk on QB does.

UGA has had some luck with walk on QBs.
