Screw that extra $$$ for a playoff game nonsense.  If his "people" suggest he should get more money for a playoff game, he will find himself practicing with the 2s that very next day.  His "people" will know why.

Is there a point at which you personally would stop watching/paying attention?  Is it fairly close?

Imagine you stopped and stumbled across news your team was say 10-0, would you drift back?

that is absurd.

they need to hurry up and make the settlement, let the players unionize do a CBA and put them on 2-3 year contracts to end this portal nonsense.

I don't think he played at all last season.  Maybe he's good, how would you know?  He bounces around a lot.

I just don't see how the NCAA athletes can unionize for a CBA.  Too many of them, too many differing interests and goals.  Even if you somehow just limited it to FBS football players I don't see it ever happening.

I'd like to see communism here.
Players should be paid?  Okay.  Let's pay them all the same.  Whatever the school, whatever the position, you get some money so you're no longer being exploited.  You can choose your school based on the SCHOOL and not on the $$$.  You can sign your 4-year contract and get that money and play for your school.

I think that's the issue, not sure how that happens without a clean break.

I still think if you set rules for eligibility, those are enforceable in court.  The issue is when they started granting waivers.  That opened the slippery slope

Not sure, because you are still entangled with publicly funded universities.  It's almost like minor league sports shouldn't be funnelled through the public education system

Hmm. That makes it even more complicated.

I'd like to meet up with Grant House and beat him with a rubber hose. F'ing swimmer screwed up college football to no end.
