To start with, those gift baskets are usually from the bowl.
And that has nothing to do with each team’s NIL.
That's what I thought

While that's true, it's also true that often the school's put together a little goody package for the bowl trip that supplements what the bowl committee does. They have budgets for these things. That's probably what the CU kids are bent out of shape about.

The CU/Deion hate is boring.  We get it.

Their HC was too brash for my liking 30 years ago on the TV screen.
Me no likey.
Rinse.
Repeat.
Over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
YAWN.

Alabama offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett has committed to Nebraska. The 6’6” 330 pounder started all 13 games for the Crimson Tide this season and was one of the top available OTs in the portal. He will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

That's literally my father-in-law, except it's not just with Deion.  Almost anyone who is popular for any reason, he'll find some reason they don't have an attitude he likes and decides he doesn't like them.  And then he tells us about it, repeatedly.

Call me when a real reporter says it. At the moment looks like speculative clickbait.

My lab partner in many of my classes was Tyler Adam (RIP). He played on the 1993 team (replaced due to injury).

He got a nice goody bag from Wisconsin when they went to the 1994 Rose Bowl.

Tyler Adam
d. July 16, 2022
Tyler Lee Adam, 51, of West Lakeland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by friends and family on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
He went to be with the Lord and his father, Don.
Tyler spent the last 26 months fiercely battling a rare cancer, Paraganglioma, that affects the neuroendocrine system. Tyler attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison on a full scholarship to play football and received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. After college he developed a love for mountain biking. He participated many times in the challenging Chequamegon 40 mile ride in Cable, WI. He was devastated when he could no longer enjoy the sport.
Tyler worked in the water purification industry for almost 25 years and developed many products for both residential and commercial use. He worked right up until the end of his life. His most recent position was as V.P. of Engineering at Ecowater He loved what he did-it brought him joy and kept his mind busy. Most importantly, Tyler wanted nothing more than to provide for his family and have exciting experiences making incredible lasting memories.
Tyler will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 26 years, Heidi; children, Kristof and Veronica; sister, Kate (Joshua Boeldt) Adam; brothers-in-law, Eric and Leif Anderson; mother, Cynthia Adam (Richard) Camomilli; parents-in-law, Ray and Loni Anderson; nephews and niece, Austin Martinez, Axel Anderson, John Paul Anderson, and Anna-Lena Anderson; many aunts and uncles; and other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall.
