The problem isnt kids getting paid.  Transfers are what is killing college sports.  you could fix it very easily by having kids sign contracts, or enforce the sit out rule for transfers.  
Or make them pass SAT/ACT Exams

Wasn't the "pandemic" in the year 2020?  How old is this dude?  

Somebody made a joke that we could get a hoops player back to town after his sixth season this year since we have a new coach....seems that the requisite element of truth to be humorous exists in the statement.
