Entry to the portal by the athletes ended last Friday, but then the school is allowed 2 business days before finalizing the name into the portal, and Monday was a holiday, so the last portal entries would have been announced on Wednesday close-of-business. 

But that's just the rule to enter, there's no rule about when a student can transfer.  It's up to the "destination school" how late they want to allow a transfer in for the spring semester.  And I suspect the schools that choose to be lenient with athlete transfers, will be pushing this date back later and later.

And that doesn't count the NC game participants Indiana and Miami, whose portal opened the day after the NC game on Monday, and those athletes have about a week to declare.

In other words, probably several more weeks of transfers headed our way.  Although the bulk of them should be done within the next few days.

Wisconsin had a player (CB Xavier Lucas) sign a contract last year, and he never reached the portal. He enrolled at Miami (FL) and he kept the money.

Wisconsin sued the player and Miami.

Nada.

You saw him play on Monday (in the 2nd half - had to sit for targeting - so very Miami).

He kept the money even after a lawsuit?  As in, the lawsuit didn't find him to owe Wisconsin or whatever donor for the money?  Or as in, the lawsuit did find him in debt and he just didn't pay it?

WHY DO THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE HATE THE SPORT SO MUCH?!?!?!?!?!


Teams may have up to 2 patches of 4 sq inches.

I'll bet you a dollar they'll have 4 patches twice as big by the time the 96-team playoff rolls around.


All of it is bad.  Nothing makes sense.  Fuck it all.
